	Just a 30 minute drive from Reykajvik - 30 minute drive to Þingvellir - Great location.

Þúfa in Kjós is just 40 km north of Reykjavik. It is situated in a beautiful area were you will enjoy a wonderful panorama view. Our guesthouse is very private and cozy. In the house you will find a kitchen area you are welcome to use. There you will find among other things: a coffee machine, toaster, microwave oven, blender, refrigerator etc. A special shower warm shower room is there for your use and we can provide you with towels if needed.

The guesthouse has:

Down stairs: Room number 1: A single room. Actually also fine for a couple or 2 induviduals.
Down stairs: Room number 2: A double room. A large room.
Upstairs: Room number 3: Good for a couple with a child or for 3-4 adults.
Upstairs: Our suit. Room number 4: A spacious room suitable for up to 4 persons.
The larger rooms have TV´s and a radio. Living area had a TV with a DVD. Internet connection available by request. Price list below on page.

We offer the possibility of renting the whole guesthouse to individuals or groups. Please contact us for further information if that is something that interests you.

There is a lot to do in Kjós if you are looking for some activities. At Þúfa we offer short riding tours and boat trips out on the fjord Hvalfjörður, for those who like to sea angling.

Places of interest in the area for example:

Glymur, Iceland´s highest waterfall is just 15 minute drive and then a hike up to the waterfall.
Lake Meðalfellsvatn, is just by the door step. Very nice lake to fish trout and possibly salmon.
Hvammsvik, golf and fishing, a 10 minute drive.
Hlaðir, a warm outdoor swimming pool with hot tubs, 25 minute drive.
Þingvellir, national park. Absolutely a must see. www.thingvellir.is
