Our beautiful county, Kjós, has a lot to offer. Great hiking trails (f.e. the highest waterfall in Iceland) - fishing in lakes and rivers - riding - golf - sight seeing -boat trips and more. Only 30 minute drive to Þingvellir national park.  We are only 40 km from Reykjavik. -

If you click on the photo of our Brynja and her stunning foal; Loftfari, you can see a short video of them. As you can see we have plenty of snow now. It seems the horses do like it, at least they look very lively. We feed them hay rolls every day, you would not believe how much they can EAT!

Here are 4 of the mares we are training having some fun in the snow. The pinto one is Drangey (5 year), the black one is Zara (6 year), the chestnuts are Þyrnirós and Maírós ( 4 year). All the mares have wonderful temperament.

Foal show. We had a foal show Dec.11th.. The star of the show was our beautiful Aska. She won the mare group and our big and beautiufl Prins Valiant came in second in the colt group. Out of 11 prizes handed out, we received 5 so we are pretty happy with the results :o))
